    About Us

W.R. Harvey & Co. (Antiques) Ltd specialise in fine English furniture dating from the reigns of Charles II through to George IV and are an old established family firm. Visit our showrooms in Witney, Oxfordshire, and you will find authentically decorated rooms displaying our stock of English antiques to their very best advantage. Indeed, our showrooms are so convincing that you would not be surprised to see Mr D'Arcy standing by our fire or Tristram Shandy stepping in through the door. An outstanding range of stock, backed up by our unsurpassed knowledge of English antique furniture between 1680 — 1830 makes a visit to W.R. Harvey & Co. a necessity for every serious collector.

Items normally stocked date from between 1650 and 1830 and include:

You will always find plenty of items in stock ranging from a tea caddy to a library breakfront bookcase or an occasional table to a 12-seater dining table and you can now view most of these on our website at www.wrharvey.co.uk and if you click on this link you can access a wealth of information about currently held items as well as the history of the company and lists of forthcoming Antiques Fairs and Exhibitions. We look forward to welcoming you to our shop or website.

In 1996 we moved from London’s Mayfair to our charming and spacious Georgian property in Witney, Oxfordshire, where we are now able to display our outstanding stock of period pieces in delightful room settings. We have also recently moved our conservation department to Witney where it is constantly supervised by David Harvey and is a valuable facility for clients.
